About Skiathos Island

Skiathos is situated in the northwest Aegean & it is the smallest but the most cosmopolitan island of Sporades complex. The golden beaches, the fully green mountains and the historical monuments composes in common the picture of the island which is worthily included among the most beautiful islands of Aegean.

The complexity of the island along with the change of the images and landscapes, keep the interest of the visitor intense till the last minute of the sat in the island. The 60 beautiful beaches of the island (from which these of the south side appear cosmic with smooth look, while the north lonely with wild beauty) compose a special shelter for your summer vacations.

Inside the mainland you can strongly discover and live the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the island, since you will be among numerous shops, plenty small coffee-bars, taverns & restaurants which can cover various tastes, while the intense night life will amaze you.

Walking on the stone alleys of the island , you will meet many churches, old fashioned stones houses with flower gardens. You will also meet the most graphic neighborhood, Plakes, while also you can see the house of Alexandros Papadiamantis , on which lived and wrote his masterpieces.
